My little story

Hey there lovely sole,

I'm Larissza, and I'd love to share my little story with you.

Just over a year ago, I was deep in the grind of retail jobs that drained my energy faster than a cup of tea left out in the cold. I always knew I was creative at heart, but for years I kind of shoved that part of me to the back of the shelf, I was blinded by promotions that would get me an extra £1/hr - too busy chasing "practical" things and never really feeling fulfilled.

Then one random day, while pottering around a hobby shop with my mum (as you do), I picked up my first pack of air dry clay. No big plan. Just curiosity. Little did I know that tiny block of clay would completely change the direction of my life.

I started experimenting, messing up, laughing, learning… and then I discovered polymer clay. And boom. Fireworks. Butterflies. True love. You get the idea...

That spark led me to create Sole Muse Jewellery - a name that means the world to me. "Sole" is a little nod to the fact that this journey started as a solo adventure, just me and my muse (a.k.a. my creativity) guiding the way. And "Muse" is for that deep, sometimes quiet, always powerful voice inside that kept whispering, create. Even when I didn’t know how. Even when I didn’t believe I could.

Since then, I’ve been on a whirlwind journey - learning, creating, burning things (oops), making beautiful things, and meeting wonderful people like you. I’m still figuring it all out, one squishy blob of clay at a time, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

This isn’t a big business with a faceless team - it's just me, my clay-covered hands, my chaotic little craft table, and a heart bursting with gratitude. Every like, every message, every order or kind word makes a real difference. Seriously.

And you know what? I truly believe that one day, I’ll be doing this full-time. No more shift schedules or soul-sucking jobs - just me, doing what I love, with a community that cheers me on. That dream feels a little closer every time someone like you joins the journey.
